How Pump Pad works

A complete guide to launching tokens with automatic SPL fee distribution.

Overview

Pump Pad is a platform built on top of Pump.fun that lets you launch tokens where creator fees are automatically converted into any SPL token of your choice and sent directly to your wallet.

How it works

  1. Connect Wallet - Sign in with your Phantom wallet. We generate a custodial launch wallet for you.
  2. Fund your wallet - Send SOL to your launch wallet (minimum ~0.03 SOL).
  3. Configure & Launch - Set token name, symbol, image, and choose a fee distribution token. Your token deploys to Pump.fun.
  4. Fees flow automatically - Creator fees from trades are claimed, converted into your chosen SPL token, and distributed.

Fee distribution tokens

You can choose from curated assets (blue chips like SOL/ETH/JUP, meme coins like BONK/WIF/POPCAT, commodities like Gold/Silver/Oil) or paste any Solana token contract address. The platform fetches and verifies the token info automatically.

Fee conversion

When creator fees accumulate in your launch wallet vault, they are claimed from Pump.fun and converted into the chosen SPL token via on-chain swaps. The converted tokens are sent directly to your wallet. No manual claiming needed.

Dashboard

Track your launched tokens, see total fees claimed, fees distributed, wallet balances, and manually trigger fee claims from your dashboard.

Changing your fee token

You can update your fee distribution token at any time from the dashboard. Future fees will flow into the new token. Already-distributed fees remain as-is.

Technical details

  • Tokens launch on Pump.fun bonding curve using the PumpFun SDK
  • Custodial wallets are encrypted with AES-256-GCM server-side
  • Fee claiming uses PumpPortal's collectCreatorFee transaction builder
  • Metadata is uploaded to IPFS via Pinata
  • All data stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL)

Fees

Pump Pad does not charge additional fees beyond standard Solana network transaction costs (~0.02 SOL). You pay only Pump.fun's standard creator fee (0.3-0.75%) which is what gets converted and distributed for you.

Supported wallets

Currently Phantom wallet on Solana. Connect, sign a message to verify your identity, and you're ready to launch. Your wallet remains non-custodial at all times.
